notes:
1:
Heath to write some notes on workshop format.
but for now:
emphasis is on doing tasks, using all available expertise. each
of the workshops are based around things that need to be done around and
about the cube.... We will start a new workshop each day but
expect that the work will run in parallel and spread over the whole 4 day
workshops period. Friday is unscheduled so that we can finish up/follow
up.
2:
some of us who live in public/social housing built from 1950's onwards
have a built in infrastructure to distribute TV signal. In my block
for instance its used for shared terrestial TV arial, but also we have
our surveillance camera on the entrance connected, you just have to tune
in. so: workshop is to make a block-wide TV station using this
infrastrcture then to look at ways of getting the signal block-to-block
and to neighbourhood people not in the block. Hogge who lives in
a block next to the cube block has this infrastucture too and his neighbourhood
assocation is investigating this so we will work with them. Also
well look at some of the old-skool stuff like using the earth circuit of
the electricity mains to distribute audio round a building. i found
somethign about this once in a 60's underground magazine called BIT, instructions
and diagrams and everything. i will try to find it again.

Suggestions needed for films.
Please note that the cube is a CINEMA. - 100 or so

music
