Samuda estate has 500 or so households
Around the estate there are 28 surveillance cameras.

The interesting thing is that the Estate is run by a tenant managed Estate Management Board, and the cameras are under their governance.  The management committee are in support of the project, and thats how and why we can have full access to the cameras, control room and can take a feed out to make our own tapes for project!

Samuda estate is right in the shadow of Canary Wharf - London's new business and financial centre, privately managed and "secured" with the help of more than a thousand cameras.
